ok i have to vent, cause ive had it with this kind of beats...these are my last 2 hands in todays rb freeroll......healthy stack from 18 K....hand 1 got pocket AA.....im the bb....everybody folds till the before the sb.....he raises 5 x bb....my thoughts he had a pair.....so i raise him all in.....he calls shows indeed middle pair 99....ofcourse he hitts hist trips on the river.........hand 2 ......QJ...i limp in, im the bb......everybody folds till 1 the ppl before the button, he also limps in.......flop Q-3-2 rainbow....i check......the ppl places a small bet......i go over the top all in, for about 75% of his stack, i didnt put him on QA otherwise he would reaises preflop.....no need to say....he calls and shows Q8......ofcourse he hits the 8 on the turn.....according to him it wasnt a bad beat (isnt it really a bad beat?)....ok whatever.....so from 18 k in 2 hands out......oh yes they know im a tight player......how the hell can i win from those ppl's?

I busted out of the fergie yesterday when my opponent called 15 times the blind with a pair of twos while I had position and a pair of nines. He hit and I didn't and that's poker. You can only get your money in best. Deal Homie.

I've seen all kinds of nasty crap like that. Yesterday I was playing in the Railbirds FTP tourney and I folded KK on the button to a raise and an all-in in middle stage of the tourney. The first re-raiser had 22 and the all-in guy had AK suited. The dueces flopped trips and the AK never caught up. I would have gotten stuck in the middle of that and had my stack leveled!

I know this may not help right now, but if you keep on getting your chips in with the best hand you will do well in the long run. There will ALWAYS be bad beats like these from time to time and when they happen it will seem like they ALWAYS happen to you. The simple truth is, its just part of the game....

the comment of the last player was the most funniest...''i wasnt a bad beat cause i had also toppair''......so can somebody explain me what a bad beat is?...cause if somebody only can win the pot with a 1 outer and that isnt a bad beat then i really dont know what a bad beat is

You had the best starting hand pre flop, so yes, that IS a bad beat. I think the problem might get better, if you didn't push all in. A decent raise each time pre flop would have probably been called, and then a healthy bet might have took both of those pots down after the flop, when you actually were ahead, but by going all in, you had no options here, but to see the turn and river cards. Save the all in for when you have the nuts on the river, and you will go deeper, and possibly win !

.......play on ......Tc.......

ok the last hand the guy put in a small bet to see where he stand with his kicker (8).....then i reraise him, but he calls so he would never lay down his cards is my opinion.

hand 1 .....i put him on a middle pair, he had 99 , i had toppair....lets say i only call his preflop raise.....the flop was 2-6-3.....do you think he would lay his 99 down with that flop?

Today on FT I lost 4 times with KK and never to AA: to 10's - a set on the flop, to 9's - a set on the river, to A/9 - an A on the flop and to A/6 - an A on the FT miracle river. Both the 10's and the 9's shoved before me...so what do you think...muck KK? No way. Then I move in with AQ short and A/10 calls and of course gets a 10. It was like that all day for me. Some at the $10 sng level, some at the $6....it's just such a joke. Never-ending bad beat after bad beat on FT. Some really sadistic software. I don't know the answer. I only know I've about had it.

nuthin u can do about it, it happens all the time

Wow, you got beat up bad! It is just really hard to whip myself around these kinds of hands. It really is like making it thru a maze in a tournament.

Especially when you're chip healthly.

It just seems like then the good down cards come, hand after hand, you have to play them because they are so good, but after the flop there is ZIP. Then, a medium to bad hand comes, we fold it ie...9/3 os, and darn if that's the one that would have won a BIG pot.

Poker......... ya got to hate that ya love it!!

You always do great when I check in....that's why I would take lessons from you if you gave lessons! G
