    Poker Trivia Tour Season Two Preview Blog

    The second season is only weeks away from now. And there will be many changes in store for the new season of the PTT. The first change is that all PTT tournaments will now be played on Wednesdays instead of Fridays. The first week of PTT season two will be played on Wednesday, July 23rd. The second change is the time each tournament will begin. Now every PTT tournament begins at 22:00 server time which is 10:00 pm et.

    One thing that hasn't changed though are the prizes each winner receives. Each preliminary winner still receives this champions trophy.

    And the winner of the PTT season ending Main Event will receive the PTT grand championship belt.

    And at the end of the season, the player who earns the most points will be named player of the season and will receive the PTT Player of the Season certificate.

    And will also have his/her name added to the PTT Player of the Season plaque.

     But, there is one new prize up for grabs this season. On week ten, there will be no low buy-in and all the best will be invited to participate in the inagural PTT HORSE Championship game. The winner of that will recieve this the special PTT HORSE Champions trophy.

    There will also be a change to the PTT Player of the Season points format. I am currently working on the points system and I will post a different blog with the changes in the POTS points system.


    As always, I will post the tournament details and the password question each week on the night before the tournament, Tuesdays, at around 22:00 or 10:00 pm et. This time around, the password to enter will only be the last name of the player whom is the answer to the question. For example, if the answer to the question was Mike Sexton, then the password to enter would be sexton.

    Each preliminary winner will be automatically invited to play in both the PTT Main Event AND the PTT HORSE Championship events. They will also be invited to play in the first ever PTT Tournament of Champions. The winners of the PTT HORSE Championship, the PTT Main Event, the PTT Tournament of Champions, and the PTT Player of the Season award all will receive the PTT season pass for season three meaning they will receive the password for every season three tournament.

    Speaking of, Buick60 and papapower each won season passes last season for winning the PTT Main Event (Buick60) and the Player of the Season award (papapower). You two will receive the password for each tournament the night before.


    Of course each and every PTT tournament with the exception of the Tournament of Champions is open to everyone! As long as you know the answer to each question, you can enter the tournament. But I ask you that you do not please post either the answer or any hints in the comment box. Do not PM the answer. Do not paste the answer in chat or in any other poker forum. I want this to be fun for everyone so please keep it that way.
