#1 Why did you chose your Railbird.com screen name/ what does it mean?I've been a Master Journeymen Steel Fabricator for over 20 years so I started using Ironmen years ago on Pogo, plus it has a cool theme song, LOL
#2 How many hours each day/week spent playing poker on?WAYYYY to many
#3 How would you define your style of play?Depends entirely on what I am playing and the stakes, I play a lot of freerolls and low stakes just for fun and I tend to mix it up a lot. When I am playing seriouse poker I tend to play to the table, focusing on getting solid reads and doing things early that are going to pay off later.Dosn't always work but I do try.
#4 Poker Achievements? Not just at poker but I pride myself on the fact that I have won a lot more then I have ever lost gambling.I have had some really incredible runs at Black jack, Roullette, Sports betting and Poker.
#5 How did you get involved with poker? Where did you pick it up?My Dad and Grandfather started teaching me and my cousins on camping trips, then in the boy scouts we used to play black jack and poker alottttttt, I just never really laid it down.
#6 Which pro would you like to face in a HU match and why?The Legendary Doyle Brunson, Because he is the Legendary Doyle Brunson, With out him and guys like Amarillo slim and the rest ot the original ***** we wouldn't even have most of what we call poker today
#7 how have you improved your game ?Master Patience!
#8 Do you have any nick names on the felt ?I get called a few things but I can't repeat them here LOL
#9 What goals do you have as a poker player in the next 6 month's ?Actually I have gotten a little burned out on poker and am backing away a little from the game. It could be a few months before I am ready to really commit to my game again. But I will be back, I always come back.
#10 What would you consider a weakness in your game/ something you need to improve? My Patience, I tend to get in a hurry if I let my self, especially if I don't care for a player and think I have a read on him, I can get wayyyyy to aggresive way to soon if I am not VERY careful. It's a problem that I have always fought with and often lost. LOL
#12 What are some typical "TELLS" that a online player is bluffing ?I am not a big believer in things like "Click Tells" ( judging by the time a player takes to make a play on line) It's not like live where you can watch them thinking about a play, on-line it is much more likely that they are answering the phone, pretending to listen to the wife/boss, or must often just playing more games then they can focus on. I almost never play more then one game at a time so I can focus on what players do under what conditions, but the best tell is when they just couldn't have me beat with what is on the board but want to bet like they can. Way to many on-line players think pushing a huge chip stack into the pot is the same as "Bluffing" ...it's NOT!
#13 How Has Railbirds.com helped your game play?It has given me a lot more opportunity to play, against a very wide range of styles and players. I truly belive the best way to improve is to play, play as often as possible, play as many different people as possible, play and then play some more, Railbirds has provided me with a lot of opportunities to play but more importantly it has introduced me to a lot of people I enjoy playing with and playing with often.
#14 Best Moment in a trny ?I am going to quote Doyle Brunson here because I think he said it best "The best hands I ever played were the ones I was smart enough to get out of in time"
#15 Most recent trny win?I have no idea, I just don't spend much energy thinking about the last one, I am usually thinking about the next one. I bet my wife Acekickerca would know though LOL

hehehe, "darls, sweetie, hun" come to mind. But I know you prefer to be seen as BAD BOY. But you're not. So you have to put up with darls from me.
Nice interview and thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Ken - "You the (Iron) MAN!" - I'm shocked this wasn't one of the original BirdFeeds ... I thought the captain had done a one-two-punch (or "two-for-one" special) when he got your lovely bride's answers on paper.
The ebb & flow of the game sends us away and then brings us back - so enjoy your downtime - the allure of poker means you'll return before many have realized you're gone. And then you'll strike with the energy and re-focused skill of a ... superhero?
Maybe. Good luck; keep it fun - play well & profit.
Nice to read this, thanks for posting it !
