so this was said in a clan tourney, with rb members who are members of a clan.....great so now we cant trust clanmembers any more (AND I DONT SAY THAT ALL THE CLANMEMBERS ARE BAD)...btw i hope you sended a copy of that chat to the pokerroom

i'm part of a clan too. There is not one clan that should be condoning this behavior, so the fact that you're "offended" because you're in a clan and someone is being accused of collusion from a clan tournament is a joke to me.

Not naive, I would say you just have some morals and basic respect for other peoples in assuming they wouldn't do that. Unfortunately their are most likely lots of people that would do it, however, it can't work all that well because those of us that wouldn't dream of doing it are stil winning tournys . Congrats on your 2nd place.

Clan or no collusion is just plain wrong. Yes, while I am playing I talk to friends on MSN/Yahoo, and yes some of these people are playing poker as well. However, I don't want to know what cards they have. IMO all friendships end at the table and resume after the game is over.

Furthermore you are smearing 54 other respected members of this community that played in that tournament without a shred of proof- or even another witness? Are you saying NOBODY else saw this "evidence" you have?

Some times people should just take their beats and realize that MAYBE they aren't as good as they THOUGHT they were; and stop pointing the finger at everyone else or making a fool of themselves by making phantom accusations and starting witch hunts.

I want to go on record that if I understand this right and it was members of my clan that are involved I am not only truly embarrassed, especially since it was the Ironmen who started asking all the Clans to pledge a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY TOWARDS CHEATING OF ANY KIND! but I am down right MAD.
I hope that you take Lynchcats advice and forward that information to the site for a full investigation. Trust me, I will be doing my own investigation on this end and If I can not get to the bottom of it and correct it once and for all I will be resigning from the Ironmen.
If any part of this is true I want to apologize to everyone from all the NONCHEATING members of The Ironmen.
I will be publicly commenting on this again after I have gotten more information.

I'm with the Shark clan and I can assure you that I have never heard this option being suggested to use in any of our tourney's. Not even suggested.

This isn't to say that there aren't people out there (not inferring RB members) that won't stoop this low in order to have a cheating edge.I've been at tables where I, and others, have picked up on what was obvious collusion that was either through the non-English chat or what I was thinking was msn/yahoo msgr.

Best thing to do is report suspicious play immediately to the poker site.

Uh o i hope this is is not true cause i would hate to see some ppl get banned or othere thigns because of assumptions made by one person or even a few people......I my self will never cheat and have never cheated and i agree that cheaters should be banned ....but actions shouldn't be made by assumption only....which i don't expect action to be taken i was just pointing out that fact.

I hope that the this clan can figure something out and hopefully it is just a bad assumption of some1 cheating cause cheaters can ruin things for every1
