Starting a bank roll.

Jun 22, 2008 10:07 pm Report Abuse

Hey guys im about to deposit $50 into Full tilt poker. I'm mostly a SitNGo player but im looking to build a steady bank roll. i was thinking something along the lines of this -
$0-$25 - play $1 sngs
$25-$100 - play $2 sngs
$100-$500 - play $5 sngs
$500+ - play $10 sngs ( my limit )

anyone have any advice?

also any tactics for sit n go tournaments will help as well.

i usually just lay back at the start wait for premiums and play em aggressive. once it comes down to final 4 i usually like to play wild.

thanks to all :]

that is very similar to how I like to play sitNgos. as for the type of sngs, I would say don't be so quick to up your limits, building a bankroll takes time, if you try to build it too fast, you could find yourself in trouble. Play the tables you are comfortable with and that you can beat most of the players.

I agree with Huzer. I would read this article from card player http://www.cardplayer.com/magazine/article/17106 .

That seems very realistic... here's a few great blogs that might help you as well:
