For anyone that does not know the POKEROOS is closing at the end of June for "a lack of support by the members except for a few"!! Now I just wonder what is the definition of support and is not closing the clan the biggest lack of support? I guess I should have been in every buy in event like those with the money and/or the lack of a life! But what really gets up my nose is the coldness of that PM that said to take all pokeroos references off your homepage and just being cast off because you don't suit someone elses idea of you doing the right thing! Well good luck to you!!

That's too bad. Saddens me to hear that. However, I do believe this is a direct question that should be asked of the indvidual who sent the PM.
Good luck to you and all the other Pokeroos out there.
Well this is the first I have heard about the end of the POKEROOS.....Sorry about their demise.
But I'd have to agree with your point of view. My work schedule, causes me to miss almost all DogPack /clan affiliated tournies......and it has never been held against me. I Find other ways to support my clan.
That being said, I hope you are able to find a new home.
I am very sorry to read this blog and the tone. Now I could answer in PM form but shall do it publicly. Pokeroos started in October or so. We have over 56 members and whenever I write a blog on POKEROOS I spam all our members. About 6 people only open the PM and the last blog I did to announce the next Pokeroo Open Game this Monday mroning (night to Australia) has had about 3 responses.
I have put in a lot of work for little or no input from most of our members. I apologize if you thought the PM sounded cold and heartless. AceKicker and myself wrote it jointly so neither one of us is to blame. The Pokeroo Open was open to all RailBirdies, not just our members. Many people can't play because they dont have a bankroll. I had financed a couple of members to play in one game, but that was my choice.
Also ozzboy, We thought we would bow out quietly and graciously without a big fanfare and a lot of noise. This is the PM we sent out to over 56 members (and guess what? most have not opened it). Both AceKicker and myself felt this was a personal thing to tell members rather than make a blog.
However I have mentioned to another member if they wish to take over POKEROOS they are more than welcomed. None of us wish to be cast into the big ocean and only be 1 small voice in the wilderness. The Pokeroos gave us a sense of belonging in a group.
ATTENTION ALL POKEROOS
It is with a heavy heart that we must let you know that the Pokeroo Membership Club will be disbanded at the end of this month (June). The reason for this is because of the indifference and lack of support from the Pokeroo members other than a few members.
There is a Pokeroo Open tournament next Monday evening and after the winner's name is sent to PrivateTournies and a trophy made for them, the POKEROO site will be closed.
Please remove all POKEROO related information and links from your profile page.
We would like to thank Ozi Batla for giving us the Pokeroo "Brag Blog" and the open use of it he gave us all.
We wish you all continued luck on the felt and all you do in your every day life.
Best Wishes

Hi oz
I'm very sorry if our PM offended you that was never our intension. As for "I guess I should have been in every buy in event like those with the money and/or the lack of a life!" I only played one Pokeroo open because of the time difference and I have a life also that is NOT the reason we were going to diaband. I have been in contact with Jonty and he understands everything. I hope we can stay friends oz but if not I undrstand. Good luck in all you do
