lol out of the ftp freeroll in record time, first hand had KK and got raised all in by 88 and he hit a st8, how can you aviod the idiot players? no ofenese to any1 involved, but all i seem to do is be out drawn in these freerolls, three times ive gone in massive leader and lost to the turn or river and its not like ive been calling with crap hands i had KK JJ and 1010 i feel like i should not even bother with them any1 feel like this about the freerolls?

it sucks making your way through them but getting a bankroll started is definitely worth all the frustration

its ok, my AQ lost to 29 just now when he hit a flush to my two pair. you just gotta double up once in these freerolls and then your in good shape. gl next tourney

I don't feel that way at all , yes people will call and outdraw you

sometimes with total junk but you can't let it stop you , I rarely

tangle with someone who has more chips than me and is a

lucky flipper lol , they will be gone soon enough , I built

mine striclty from freerolls , that didn't happen by being

impatient or giving up , hang in there , gl

I've only been playing freerolls for a week now...but have played about 25 or so...they are definitely a grind for sure. I cashed on one, a whole 50 cents, but I was happy with that. Would have made a bit more if my last hand, which was AK had broken a pair of deuces...caught a king, but a third deuce came up and that was it.

Its a little frustrating with the wild fields on FT...2700 players with all the donk moves the first 1000 make. I was playing earlier today at the 3:40pm game..got to 103rd place and it took me 2.5 hrs to get there. Lost with a QJ against pocket jacks.

But then...if the freerolls paid easier, no one would put their own money up..which would defeat the purpose. I will say there are other ways to build a small bankroll on poker sites if your resourceful enough..which will take little effort. I won't say what they are here because i'm trying to do it myself and don't want to widen the field until I can, lol.

I know how u feel, for the last month ive been having the same problem but ive always thought thats these online poker sites for some reason are set up for bad beats

three times ??? is that all lol.....

I post that for 1 reason, and that's to show that you can start from nothing using a freeroll and that's why you bother. The thing is you have to adjust your game to deal with the craziness that goes on in a freeroll. Once you learn how to deal with all the different types of players in a freeroll, and adjust your game to deal with them, you will find cash games and MTT real money tournaments a lot easier. Just my thoughts, for what they are worth.

Don't bother with these donk fests. You have a better chance of placing in the money with other freerolls than trying to beat the idiots that subscribe to this site.

Im trying to build my roll from freerolls, and in the freerolls i want idiot players... I would rather have idiot players than world class pros, if u get unlucky, i well, it will change and u will win over time
PeterPT Jun 15, 2008 4:21 am

Ty 4 all your comments ill take them on board, i dont really play them to build my bankroll as i play other moneys games 4 that but still i might give them a another go and maybe earn some extra $$$$$

well if you are starting a bankroll from scratch, this is the scratch.

and if not , then this is a great place to work on your game and also to experiment with different styles of play (freeroll).

if you can win one of these freerolls, you have done something thousands of players have not done. Much like the WSOP, everyone entered is trying to win in one way or another but only one gets the win. Very hard!!!!

good luck to you, and a second note, freerolls are good when you are on a bad run,,,,,you can lose and it only costs you your sanity...................dj
