A year ago today this already great community became even better . Sapphos joined railbirds. Not only is she a wonderful lady, a great friend but a hell of a poker player. When she sets her mind to it she will take chippies from you left and right................ One night I found myself on the bubble either for the final table or the money I dont recall which one it was as I am an old lady and my memory just isnt what it used to be *LOL* but that isnt what matters I had watched sapphos from time to time and knew that she was a tough player so when i got involved in a hand with her heads up I figured I was in deep trouble. But somehow the poker gods was smiling on me and I ended up taking her out. Now instead of berating me for taking her out or railing another birdie she stuck to the rail and railed me cheering me on and on . I dont remember what I finished but I remember this great lady railing me on. Thank You sapphos for railing me that night so long ago. Thank you for becoming my friend. Thank y ou for the many smiles, the many many laughs and yes thank you for the tears for many of them were happy tears. Forever will you have a place in my heart
