well with three players already all in i probably wouldve mucked it if i really cared about staying alive in the tourney.... youre only 70/30 against a single ace, personally i wouldnt put my tourney life on the line that early there, too good a chance one of the 3 will outdraw you like that, big pocket pairs arent very strong against multiple opponents

1st level of a .10 buy in tournament. It does not surprise me. I truly hate to catch good hands early in a SNG or a tourney. The donks unfortunately will win a good % of the time.

However, you were a favorite going into the flop, and over time, the play of the other two will be profitable for you.

Very unlucky. or Very Hold em like

Really bad luck, but what was the buy-in? lol.

This is not a bad beat, you put in a miserable raise so the guy tries to steal it and gets a bunch of callers. You slow played a monster and then got outdrawn. Also it is a low buy-in game so people will go all in with a very mediocre hand and hope for a lucky draw.

But yes it's very sick the hands people put all their money in with sometimes... and even sicker that they BOTH had a queen and flopped 2 more, if that's what you meant

and yea im with you sandman i almost feel like pitching AA if i get it in the first few hands, too many crazy people drawing out and it's really not even worth doubling up at that stage

Winning an all in and doubling up early in a tournament doesnt guarantee you anything, but losing an early all in guarantees you nothing

some book... cant remember which one
