Help (PLEASE)

Jun 5, 2008 6:01 pm Report Abuse

hey all,

OK ,,,,I have been trying to figure out another way to delete me internet history.

My old way dosnt show up (old way i use to just right click on internet icon and go to delete history)

And the other way is the control panel way, but they dont work.

Does anyone know if you can click on start..then go to run and type something in so i can get rid of them?

Please help thanks

Select "Tools"
• Select "Internet Options".
• Open the "General" tab.
• In "Browsing history" area click the "Delete" button.
• Click "Delete history and then 'Delete All'.
• Click Close and then click OK.

Google ATF Cleaner and download that. It's a itty bitty program that clean all the temp files on your PC.It looks like a trash can.Run that every night and you'll have no problems in the future.

try Start Menu/Run. Type in msconfig. You can get rid of start menu stuff there, so probably history too. Watching porn, and don't want wifey to find out? hmmm :-)

Good luck if it were me I would be trying a system restore. If that fails well looks like next step would be to reinstall windows. Yuck!

Another way is to right click on start, go to explore, and then find history and delete it. You can do the same with cookies too.
