Good Omaha Book to read

Just finished reading-"Farha on Omaha" by Sam Farha. It's a good quick read for anyone interested in tips for Omaha H, and H/L.

Just picked it up after reading a review of it in one of the poker mags. If nothing else Farha is a character and is considered one of the best Omaha players around.

Thanks 1idak, It is a great game, and Farha is considered one of the best. He is very aggresive, but he has a lot of good points and tips to give.

Next trip into town I will be buying the book. Thanks for the information.

Now can somebody tell me how to get the top ten starting hands more than just 6% of the time?

I saw Sam Farha on television talking about Phil Hellmuth going off on him for hitting his card on 7th street to take the pot. He said that what Phil never realized was that he had 32 outs and losing the bet wouldn't put him in a desperate situation. This was in a Omaha section of a HORSE tournament. Counting those outs in Omaha is a big weakness in my game.

I think he was talking about something he called a wrap. After the flop, your cards completely surround the community cards, giving you about 4 different cards to make a straight, plus a backdoor flush draw probably too. Imagine having 32 outs!
Of course I probably wouldn't hit one of them lol.

I love Omaha Hi/Lo online, but I am not sure I would ever want to play it live. Trying to figure out all the split pots in a live game could become a REAL issue. I have had pots split 5 way, and even after I went back to look I had a hard time figuring out why!!! How confusing!!! Imagine that live?
