#1 Why did you chose your Railbird.com screen name/ what does it mean?

I call my target at the table my mark so my friends started calling me markie and picked this name as a joke lol

#2 How would you define your style of play? I'm very trappy and patient online ,also play TAG live usually but it depends on who I'm playing too.

#3 Poker Achievements?

My favorite one was winning a charity holdem tourney that a friend had set up for a benefit .

#4 what brought you to join railbirds in the first place, and what keeps u here ?

I heard about it on Full Tilt from someone I was playing who said it was a fun poker site !

#5 Which pro would you like to face in a HU match and why?

Gus Hansen just because he's sooo cute lmao ,I love headsup , I really get into the mind game of it and he would be a trip to play and I would love to make him scratch his head and say WOW ,I love when he does that lol!

#6 how have you improved your game...was it by lots of practice, was it by books you have read and if so, which books, was it by playing live ??

All of of the above , playing online is great practice for anybody who wants to learn any kind of poker game, I started out playing live though and that's a real training ground because there's nowhere to hide at the table like there is online , my favorite poker books would have to be the Theory of poker by Sklansky , it makes people really think about what they are doing and why in a poker game , I love to play Omaha hilo and Stud hilo as well as holdem so another of my favorite books is Super System 2 because it covers all those games very well, also Championship Omaha by TJ Cloutier and Tom McEvoy is the best book on Omaha IMHO of course lol

#7 Who are 5 players you look up to on railbirds and why? or Who do you think based on what you've seen or read, would you like to face heads up on railbirds?

I gotta say the funniest blogs I've seen on railbirds are probably Fluffy's and I love to giggle lol, Pookiegirl2 also has very interesting blogs on the math of poker ,I like teflonjon001's stud hilo blogs a lot .
Just going by how I've seen them play I think that playing Kidflopadelic or MrsMagoo would be a kick lmao ,they both seem very patient like me so it would be a hoot to see if I could loosen them up or if they could loosen me up lol

#8 How do you play differently in tournaments vs. cash games?

I tend to have a different selection of starting hands and also I'm more aggressive right from the start in cash games .

#9 What would you consider a weakness in your game/ something you need to improve?

When it gets really deep in a tourney right before the bubble I have to fight to pay attention lmao , after the bubble I'm fine though but I gotta work on that , a friend told me to just take a break for a few minutes make some coffee and that seems to help a little bit lol

#10 What are some typical "TELLS" that a online poker player gives ?

Waiting too long to bet when they have a great hand because they can't decide how much they can get out of you lol, also betting all in too fast when they have the nuts , raising or limping when they haven't done that all game lol

There's a lot of great strategy blogs on here.

I forgot I had registered in a tourney and got home in time to see I was still in it but only had 345 chips left , anyway I started playing and came back and finished in 5th place lol

I've been the sit n go queen recently lol but my best finishes in tourneys this month have been 4th and 6th .

I play those extremely tight until after the first break and that helps in all freerolls.

Hmmmm...ok I guess I would be playing Hearts and Gin and Blackjack which I also love but I gotta have poker too lol
