my first real LIVE game

Well today Nan decided to look after the kids for us, so Wall and i ventured off to a deep stack tourney at the pokerdome. I have played a few APL games (which is just freeroll stuff, and a sit n go at a different pokerdome) so this was my first real live game.

After a slow ol start, and my main hand being 4 2 off, i won a decent size pot, i think it was more just cause i bet and all the guys freaked out LOL.....which gave me a bit of room to move, then being the DONK that i am, i misread one of my hands and lost a chunk, was certain i had A7 in the big blind, but no matter how many times i looked at it later it was only A6, thought i had hit the high straight, but no, felt like an idiot and a complete moron LOL great way to play poker.......note to self, always double check ur hand lol...

After a few hours we got moved down to the final table, and suddenly i am sitting across from Wall......he has a pile of chips in front of him, i have a few dribbles left.....oh great.....few more people go out, and now i have next to no chips, Wall raises my blind to put me all in, guy next to him calls, i got out as quick as i could.......Wall pushes all in on the flop, the guy calls him, had him outchipped by like one chip, Wall turns over 2 pair, guy shows K 10 high. with no piece of the board..........turn comes a 10, river a K for Wall to go out to runner runner, was totally YUCK, so many people are intimidated by Wall online, but live OMG talk about scary.......

So we are down to final 5, i have maybe 3 blinds left in my 3 chips i am holding lol........yeah in a great position to take it down NOT, so i am under the gun and pushed all in blind, didn't even look at my cards, watched the flop and everyone turn their cards, and then flip mine over..........omg i won, suddenly i have enough to survive another round, surely i can get better than 4 2 off in that time

Next hand i get AJ, looked like quad aces to me after the cards i had seen, so after a few limpers into my blind i pushed all in again, only one guy called, he had 100 less than me, took down that pot weeeeeeeeee and we are down to 4, top 3 getting paid. I am still the short stack but not so short now that my only move is all in, so a few hands are played and the other guy that was low played in a few pots and folded so suddenly his chips were very low, next thing u know the monster stack calls his all in and takes him out, omg i am in the money w00t w00t

3 of us left, i am still short stacked, but i just let the other 2 play pots, see if the monster will knock out the other guy before me, sure enough within a few hands the other dude is gone and suddenly i am heads up, guy has maybe 50 times my stack........this was gonna be yuck

I push all in on my BB and he calls, i win and double, still so low but now could maybe pick a hand in the next 3, next hand got A8 pushed all in again and he calls, i hit again and double again, i have maybe 1 third of the chips now to his 2 thirds, few more hands play, and i keep stealing his blinds, or scaring him off on the flop till we are even in chips.....

Next hand i look down at AJ...........he pushes all in, i call.........turns over his 55.........8 9 4 flop 7 turn so sure that i am done right now, river A OMG OMG OMG i won i won weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

After having only 1600 chips left when the average would have been around 15K i thought i was toast, yet somehow with a lot of patience and a little luck i took it down

I want to say thank u Wall for dragging me out there, i so wasn't in the mood to go and play, and u talked me into it...........that was sooooooooooooo cool and so much fun weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
