Whoever has the money to lease the politicians. Voting does nothing, if you really want to make a difference fork over a thousand or more to a candidate, then they will invite you to the dinners, you meet them face to face, and thats when you can make your pitch.
Votes in this country mean nothing, everyone wants to vote for the winner, and does not want to through away votes. Even worse people seem to think voting party lines is the right thing to do.
The reality, politicians and parties play the voters everyday, then placate you with small rebates. All the time most people are content to ignore everything and pretend all is well.
