I have a home game every Friday or Saturday night. Pretty simple format, $20 buy-in, lots of starting chips and blinds go up every 15 hands. We also have a mandatory $5 pool. We keep track of how people finish and award points once the pot gets to a few hundread bucks, we total up everyone score and multiply by 100 and give the person that many chips and we play for the entire pool, winner take all, unless the final two or three decide to split. Anyway I am easily the best player and usually win all the money in the pool at the end.
Anyway this last weekend my brother in law showed up to play, which he does only occasionally. Anyway he destroyed everyone this weeked. It was a truely amazing run of cards, he got 5 full houses, when other players had sets or better. It litteraly only took 1.5 hours to clean everyone out. I don't mind losing as it is part of the game. What bothers me is how he bragged at how well he played, when he actually did nothing but call all night long. Oh well, I have taken more money off him then he will ever take off of me. I have to write this here, because I would never tap the glass at my own game.

I hear ya---I've come out in the top 3 in the last 6 or so tourneys in one particular homegame I play, and even though they have paid VERY well, I still don't trashtalk anyone. I just tell them I'm getting a good run of cards, because I know the tables will turn sooner rather than later, lol.
Just like mlh says....no one likes a sore winner.
