Okay - I've got to say it... after reading soooo many "bad beat / stupid donkeys / how could they play that?" stories... what I want to know is, how about telling us the times YOU were the idiot and made a terrible play, and then proceeded to suck out totally on the better, wiser, more experienced player? I mean, come on! We have all done it - and been glad it worked out for us!
Personally - one of my greatest (read:worst!) plays was in my home game, last year... one of the guys works for the Pebble Beach Resort and got a great deal on a suite for a weekend; he decides that our game needs a touch of class, so we have a game in the suite, overlooking the 18th green and the ocean (you've seen it on TV!). In keeping with the "touch of class" theme, everyone wore sportcoats, kinda dressy... Second or third time around and I get pocket 10's in the cut-off - the button has been an early chip leader and is, in my opinion, "throwing his weight around"... I raise 3x BB and he doubles it - I push all in and he calls, immediately! K's vs. 10's - and I'm looking around the room, wondering if I'll buy in again or just leave early - and I hit a 10 on the river to win! Needless to say, the used-to-be-big stack is more than chagrined by my good fortune... and proceeded to donk off 3 more buy-ins ($100 ea.) and is on PERMA-TILT for the rest of the evening...
and, did I feel bad? NO! I felt lucky and grateful - and really amused by the tilted behavior of my friend... LOL! The guy would not talk to me for a week!
Share your donk-a-licious moments... I KNOW you're not ALL pro's out there!
just saying, is all...

I have 2 blogs where I show my ability to deliver the best of the bad beats:
AA vs KK vs my AKo, http://www.railbirds.com/blog/132603/aa-vs-kk-vs-ak-you-guess-the-winner.html
KK vs my 55, http://www.railbirds.com/blog/137532/omg-i-did-it-the-sickest-beat-ever.html
Some players get so bent out of shape about bad beats, but I just take them as part of the game. However in the case of bad beats, it is much better to give than receive.
