Help for children in need of entertainment...

Feb 27, 2008 2:04 am Report Abuse

I received this email from a dear friend of mine earlier today and would like to ask that each of you take a moment from your busy lives to help these deserving kids.
I will be voting for the Shriner's hosital to receive the entertainment units for the simple fact that my hubby, as well as his father were extremely involved with Shriner's hospital here in Galveston TX long before I ever moved here. They would each donate their time and all possible resources to help the hospital provide the care that these children need.
Dear Friends,
Colgate-Palmolive is sponsoring a contest with the Starlight Foundation to award 30 participating hospitals a Starlight Fun Center – a mobile entertainment unit that kids can enjoy at their bedside or anywhere in a hospital setting. And now you can make an even bigger difference. The ten hospitals that receive the most online votes will receive two Starlight Fun Centers, generously sponsored by Colgate-Palmolive. Fun Centers feature a flat screen monitor, DVD player and a Nintendo® Wii. The Fun Centers roll right up to a child’s bedside to provide hours of game play and movie watching.

Shriners Hospitals for Children – St. Louis is on the list and we would appreciate your vote !
· Then click on MO ; note that Shriners is the 2nd Hospital that you can vote for so click that option.
· At the end of the page you need to type in the letters that you see in the security box and then click on submit.
Help us win this contest! You can vote once every day until the contest ends on March 31st. (Please also note that our sister hospital in Chicago is also nominated - if you'd like to vote for them, too!
Thanks in advance for your support of these kiddos.
Smiley
