In 1899-1902 you stood tall and brave amidst chaos to fight the Boer War
I could not stand beside you then but I do stand beside you now (219 lives)
In 1914-1918 you stood tall and brave at Vimy Ridge in the Great War WWI
I could not stand beside you then but I do stand beside you now (66,655 lives)
In 1939-1945 upon the beaches of Normandy you stood tall and brave in WWII
I could not stand beside you then but I do stand beside you now (44,893 lives)
In 1950-1953 in the Korean War you stood tall and brave so far from home
I could not stand beside you then but I do stand beside you now (516 lives)
In 2002-2007+ in Afghanistan fighting enemies you could not see you stood tall and brave
I could not stand beside you then but I do stand beside you now (98 lives)
On November 11th each year I commemorate your valor and victories
The giving of your lives for me
I stand tall and brave to face whatever the future holds because you
"Stood Tall and Brave" for me......

I am so proud of all our troops and those of other countries who try to protect the freedoms we all enjoy.
I support these troops and wish them all a very speedy and safe return home.
Let's all give our troops the 'Ultimate' support.......by bringing them home.
