Play against Doyle Brunson for free

Feb 23, 2008 1:07 am Report Abuse

At Doylesroom they are starting a "Special Celebrity tournaments" next Wed. 27th at 9:30 pm est.
Doyle, Hoyt Corkins, Mike Caro, to name a few that are suppose to be in it.
There's a $27.50 buy-in for this knock out tournament, with $500 paid per knock out, plus $25,000 in other prizes.
There is a full rebate of your $27.50 if this is your first time to register in it. So, according to the email I got, you can't lose. Sounds to good to be true, but thats what it said.
I'm gonna have to check it out a bit more, but doesn't that sound like fun?
GL all !!

Doyle's Room has been offering this for awhile now. You still have to have money on the site, but I trust Doyle more than I would a lot of others You play against Mike Caro, Hoyt Corkins, and Doyle himself. I believe that if you knock one pro out, it's $500, but the number goes way up if you can knock out two or all three. I'm playing freerolls only to try and raise the cash for this tourney. Hope a Bird can do well.

Good Luck on & off the felt

The only concern I had is that most of my cash there has been won through freerolls, and then some on tables to be able to play the rake required ones. I have never deposited there. I don't know if this would make a difference in the rebate or not. I've read that you have to deposit on Tilt before you can withdraw. I haven't checked on that, but the source was good. I've only been playing there for 3 weeks or so, but have the cash built up. I think it would be worth it to maybe sit at the same table with Doyle, even if I didn't receive the rebate.

I made a deposit there of 50 ran it up to 200 and could not get them to pay me!!!

I jump through every hoop they gave me and still they would not pay. SCAMMERS.

Doyle does not run the site and is only a figure head.

Stay away if you know whats best.
