I've noticed blogs here from time to time about people receiving e-mail spams from and about poker sites. Can't say it is a guarantee, but I have an idea where one of the possible offenders might be.
With the change in RB tourneys adding unibet and bodog, I went to each of those site's main website yesterday to check site rules and terms of service. Never downloaded either site and never clicked any other links, but the main sites were in my browser history (well, they 'used' to be).
Opened Outlook this AM and found poker site spams waiting. Wonder which of the two above sites make more than the rake by selling or sharing e-mail addys?
Just found that strange since I never get poker related spam. I only play on Stars and FT and a longtime member of only 2 forums and deleted PartyPoker long ago when they dumped US players . None of these have ever generated poker spam. Why now ?
Just curious if others here are now the recipients of a new generation of poker spams.
