I don't know why I keep writing blog entries about Caro, he's not even close to my favorite poker author, but here I am again. Anyways, I was looking through his old articles trying to find an article that refuted a post someone made in the forum (I knew if I was just speaking for myself, in this case I wouldn't be believed) when I came across the quote below. Never did find what I was looking for, but this made the time I spent worthwhile.
Sure, you've heard me talk about this before. I have often said that the main key to poker success is to simply play your best game all the time. The difference between playing your best game all the time and most of the time is so monumental that I don't think you'd believe me if I tried to give dollar examples.
This says so much about my troubles, both recently and really for much of the past two years. Though, I'm not quite sure how to apply this piece of wisdom, how to actually be consistent. Any thoughts?
