Buffalo Bills play in Toronto Canada 2008

Well this is just following up to my last post about football. The Buffalo Bills are planning to play one regular season game per year in Toronto for the next 5 yk.ears (I think that what they said). I was wondering what people thought about this? Personally when I heard it was actually going to happen I was quite excited, then I started to think about it. Police in Toronto frown hard on tailgating so there will be none of that...which is what makes seeing a football game so much fun I think. Then there is the ticket price!! Holy smokes!! they have jacked the price through the roof and for what reason I don't see. I could travel to Buffalo to see a game for roughly 1/5th of the price I would pay in Toronto. In Buffalo the price is roughly $50 and in Toronto the price is projected to be around $250...and the exchange is pretty nuch even right now. This is just a clear cut example of greed in my opinion. There have been some genuine concerns from ticket holders in Buffalo regarding the ticket price and I hope they bitch about it loud and clear as they are right in their displeasure. I actuall hope when they post the ticket prices that nobody buys then just to prove a point...unfortunately that won't likely happen in a town that seels out ever single hockey game for a team that can't win a fame of X's and O's!! Corporate greed sucks EH!

We canadians have football which is great. I have yet to see the pricing so cant comment on that yet. All sporting events are high not only here but in the US as well. Try to get tickets to nascar and see what u gonna pay. But you have to remember that its the bills who agreed to come here and depending upon what it cost to run the event will dictate the price, Did you also compare the cost of tickets for american football in the UK, as i also read that they will play one game there as well. Dont kid yourself they will milk it for all its worth. But to "BOMB THEM" think tis best to suck back and reload there. Watch that it doesnt back fire and get you.
