Earlier this evening I had planned to travel into the city (Belfast) and meet some friends for a night on the town. Instead I gave that idea up to play poker instead (sad I know lol), boy did I make the right choice! Was playing a couple of games and signed up to tonights RB freeroll at
Tilt on the last minute of registration. Wasn't too excited, havn't had much luck in the few freerolls I managed to play this month. Usually bubbled on a big pair, but this time I was a little more careful about my hand selection on the bubble, thankfully no big pairs came my way.
I just squeezed into the top 100 when I knew I had to start pushing. I got right down to about 2 Big Blinds, I mean I was literaly last on the ranking list. But I fought on and scraped a few hands together with only trash (any ace) after having no decent starting hands for most of the previous hour. Then a card rush came, it was amazing... AK, AQ, QQ, AA, 1010. I went from 2k back up to 40K in under ten minutes! My stack was taking shape again!
Finally down to 2 tables and unfortunately I got AA and up against t9parabelum's QQ. Didnt wwanna have to call heer alll-in but I just couldnt lay those babys down! Sorry Nat!
Anyway heres some pics of my experience, thanks for the railers. Couldn't of done it without you guys... especially t9parabelum, Onador and Pike60!

The GOF.
VERY WELL DONE ! You deserve good results for staying in tonight. Isn't it funny how a 4 hour tournament can be won with a dozen or so good hands. Patience is usually the key, and agression when we hit a hand. Good Job, I hope you have continued success !
...........play on ...........Tc.................
Sleeping didnt come easy last night lmao
Grats on your win....go undead
WELL DONE. That is so good to read. And this is such a nice blog because you mention people who railed.
CONGRATULTIONS. I bet you were pretty pumped by the end of the game. A Guinness or 2 after?
