The Poker Gods Giveth

and the poker gods taketh away.

I just had the most incredible run of hole cards (this all happened in my normal 10+1 STT, when it was down to six players blinds at 50/100). In eight consecutive hands I held QQ, KJs, TT, QQ, Q5, AJ, AK, KK.

I won five of those hands, three with a preflop raise, and the other two on the flop.

But the sick thing is what happenned in the last hand. I got into a raising war with the guy on my right. I figured he was sick of me bullying the table for the last round and was gonna stick up to me. Eventually he went all-in, I called and he had aces. I lost, of course, leaving me with somewhat fewer chips than I had before the run.

Not complaining though - it was a really fun five minutes and I still made the money.
