Woot I won my first Railbirds Tourney

Got 1st in the railbirds $400 GTD !
Well the story is pretty simple. I played mostly tight till i got my first double up to 20k
then sat and played position from 20k to about 30k then worked my butt off. At 49k
i hit an 11k spread to move to 60k and stayed there for a while before the home
stretch. One major hand i raised preflop with pocket 10s from button got reraised
by the small blind what sucked is i had like 30k and it was only 4k to call. I thought
for a while and folded it even though i easily could have afforded it , thank goodness
he had JJ and my 10 never hit. Finished the win with Q J i hit jack on flop pushed
all in got called by K 8 on a straight draw my Jacks held up for the win!

Whoever says its easier to play the big stack is INSANE! I was top 3 for the last
hour and half at least and trust me i threw away a TON of good hands. If i didnt have
position AND a hand that would stand up to at least a call on the flop i dumped it.

Through away pocket 3s, 6s, AJ a bunch of times, A10, hmm K 10 a few times.
Mostly i played connectors like QJ , 8,7s. I will tell u a trick i learned but I'm not posting
it here because then u will know one of my main secrets. Let me tell u it will take
ur game to the next level if u do it tho...

Oh yeh 73 in the tourney took a little over 3 hours.
