My rant so please don't be offended...

Jan 24, 2008 5:29 am Report Abuse

I just found out my kids grandparents who are watching my kids just did something very
screwed up to my kids...

A friend of mine asked me once what my ideal woman was....
I don't believe she exists but here is what I think...

My "Perfect" Woman

1. She would be blind from birth so as to be unable to judge me by the color of my skin.
2. She would be slightly hard of hearing so she would have to listen intently when I spoke
instead of constantly interrupting or telling me what I am thinking.
3. She would have a slight limp that would cause her feet to hurt after a while so I would have
to sit and rub them for her every night.
4. She would have beautiful hair that needed brushing every night which of course would be
my job as she rested from her sore feet.
5. She would have spent part of her life homeless so she would appreciate a man who would
spend every night with her talking about her hopes and dreams and sharing his fears and
concerns.
6. She would be very up to date on world affairs and love to speculate what the world would be
like if we all just worked together.
7. She would be a little needy so as to actually WANT to spend time with me versus going out to
the bar with her girl friends or dating a bunch of guys who just want to get laid.
8. She would be religious and understand that even though I do believe in GOD I am not sure
I understand the things he does.
9. She would love children and see them as I do.. A gift from GOD to take care of until we give
them back to him.
10. My best friend. The person to make my bad dreams go away.

Thats her in a nutshell. Does she exist? Hell no...But one can hope...

reverse the gender in each statement and you would have what I have been looking for since divorce in 73.

At my age, 64, all the men want a maid, momma, or are gay.

Oh well

WHAT? Your Grandparents did something messed up to your kids and it makes you want a disabled woman (blind and hard of hearing as well as lame and suffering pain daily) Who only stays with you because she is needy and wants your stuff ( after being homeless)
And you want the two of you to "Give Back your children to God" ( the natural order of things is for the children to lose their parents, NOT for parents to lose their children)
I am just NOT getting it.....what did I miss?
RoseG42 Jan 24, 2008 5:49 am
I think you missed the point. I read the give them back to GOD as teaching them the right way in their religion so that they would go to GOD when it was their time.
Kaedyn Jan 24, 2008 5:49 am
You missed alot ironman
How about this time you actually READ the blog
And open your mind. I asked for a blind woman who
didn't judge me by the color of my skin
she would be slightly hard of hearing so she would
actually LISTEN to what I had to say
she would have spent time homeless so she can
APPRECIATE a man who loves her
Its not that difficult, just think with the right side of your brain
not the left for a second it will come into focus
Ironman Jan 24, 2008 5:53 am
O.K. I can see that but what about wanting her to be blind deaf and suffering pain daily? And needy? I mean he wants her to shut up and listen AND to be stimulating conversation? Sorry I just don't get it
riverqueen1972 Jan 24, 2008 5:53 am

I dont get it, what does this have to do with your kids and their grandparents?

The list is kind of messed up.

Oh, and God is not a "her"

Kaedyn Jan 24, 2008 5:58 am
You know what people
If you don't understand it then its probably not
something I can explain it to you. In order to get
it u need to be able to think OUTSIDE the box
and I really am not in the mood to explain it to you
The title says its my rant and dont be offended
Those of you who DO understand it thankyou
for your kinds words

He's asking for a compassioned friend, partner and lover. I think he makes good sense.
Pokerchix Jan 24, 2008 6:01 am

Well I fit 8 out of the 10 HAHAHAHAHAHAA....I am not blind but I don't judge someone by the color of their skin, and I am not hard of hearing and I always listen intently believe it or not....

BUT...I don't have a limp but my feet are sore at night from running all over the Casino paying out Jackpot winners ROFL...so a foot rub would be AWESOME!!

OH...I have long hair...I am tired of brushing it so have at it LOL.

I live in an RV...how much more homeless do I need to be HAHA

Anyway....she does exist...but you have to be willing to accept her. She is probally sitting right under your nose.

lol GOD is male and female according to the Bible , so you're both right , 1 of my favorite poems is,

For Anne Gregory

'NEVER shall a young man,
Thrown into despair
By those great honey-coloured
Ramparts at your ear,
Love you for yourself alone
And not your yellow hair.'
'But I can get a hair-dye
And set such colour there,
Brown, or black, or carrot,
That young men in despair
May love me for myself alone
And not my yellow hair.'
'I heard an old religious man
But yesternight declare
That he had found a text to prove
That only God, my dear,
Could love you for yourself alone
And not your yellow hair.'

William Butler Yeats
I don't believe in wasting time looking for perfect people , they all have their own agendas, gl !
Ironman Jan 24, 2008 6:05 am
I read it... and I understand what it says you would wish cruel disabilities on a person instead of wishing to be judged as a person and NOT on the color of your skin.
And with a disability of partial deafness instead of wishing for someone who would care enough to listen to you
And for her to be needy (desperate) and to have suffered the horrable hard ship of homelessness instead of for a woman who would love and appreciate a man who loves her equally.
And believe me, I understand what you said. You would wish pain and suffering on others if it would get you what you need.
True Love doesn't ask for others to suffer for your happiness, It is doing EVERYTHING in the world to spare others a single moments suffering

Come On... I understood what was there , I just don't think it has anything to do with Love, It was all " they would suffer so I could have what I want"
I am just saying
Kaedyn Jan 24, 2008 6:05 am
Wow Pokerchick
Thats pretty awesome you made me smile
and thankyou Rose for the kind comments.
I cannot believe how some people actually
make it through the day without tripping
over something...
Kaedyn Jan 24, 2008 6:09 am
Ok ironman I was not wishing disablitles on someone
Do you know what a metaphor is?
All of that was metaphorically speaking
I don't really want a person who is BLIND in the physical
sense but BLIND in the objective sense.
I don't want a person who is going deaf LITERALLY but
who listens intently in the PHYSICAL sense

You know what I am tired of trying to explain myself
I apologize thats why I labeled it my rant its not supposed
to make sense to everyone...
Ironman Jan 24, 2008 6:21 am
I understand the use of metaphor and in most of the cases it kind of works but I think it's a HUGE stretch to claim you Metaphorically wanted them to suffer pain each day, or you wanted them to be metaphorically be "needy"
Is there a good metaphorical meaning to "suffer pain" or "needy"?
Look I do think I understand where you where coming from and what you wanted to communicate. and I am really NOT trying to be an A-hole. I was just troubled by the subtext of what I was reading.
I actually hope you find the perfect mate for you and that you BOTH live long happy healthy lives.
Sorry if I offended you in any way and good luck on and off of the felt
Kaedyn Jan 24, 2008 6:26 am
I DID NOT SAY SUFFER PAIN
I said her feet would hurt after a little while

just forget it
ill take the blog down
i am sorry guys
Pokerchix Jan 24, 2008 6:27 am
Kaedyn I thought it was beautiful IronMan is just on tilt hee,hee
Pokerchix Jan 24, 2008 6:28 am

RoseG42 Jan 24, 2008 6:32 am
Don't take it down, Discussion is great.
Markie141 Jan 24, 2008 6:33 am
i don't see a reason to take it down , the meaning behind the poem is clear , gl
Ironman Jan 24, 2008 6:48 am
Please don't take it down. like RoseG said "Discussion is great
And I have come around to see what you meant, and like I said I hope you find the perfect woman for you man.
