I am new here, but a great prayer warrior. I will add her to my list, and to several prayer chains that I am involved in. There is power in the prayer.

MY thoughts and prayers are with you. I was in the same situation back after my divorce and was unable to attend the funeral or my ex mother in law when she died of lung cancer. (was one of those old time people who would not go to the doctor. So she died when early medicare could have saved her.) I was sent a message by my ex that his new wife (my best friend and his secretary did not want me at the funeral, it would upset her. I sent my mother with my son to the funeral.

Go to her, don't let other family members stop you. I regret that I was not there no matter what.
