Well, i also lost with AA yesterday in a cash game at friends home with 4 ppl
Blinds $0.05/$0.10. Im SB. Everyone calls.
My hand :
Here comes the flop
Flop:

Well, that seems like a nice flop. I check (trying to slowplay ofcourse) and the BB bets 2x BB ($0.20). The rest of the table fold leaving only me and BB left. Well with those cards on the table, i was thinking maby he hit his King or a has a straight draw, no flush draw on the table so im gonna just call it.
Turn:
Hmm, not the best card in the world.
So now i bet $0.30 to see what im up to. But suddenly, he decides to go all-in with a lot of noise, him standing up, picking up all his chips and almost throwing them in the middle shouting ALLIN! (for $1.35) Now i have a tough call to make. I had about $2.40 left so i wouldn't have to go allin. But for a fact i knew that this was his last pot, his sister was waiting to go and drive him home. A few hands before he also just went all-in hoping to double up with just a top pair with medium kicker. So I decided to call him because i thought he will probably have a King and would try to steal the pot right here and now. Turns out i was right. He turned over
and I was already cheering, because he was almost drawing dead, except ofcourse for that nasty flush draw he had there, which I think he didn't even see for himself. Now the River
River
How great, on the river he makes his flush, and i lose all my chips
yeey!. So for all those ppl out there saying Poker is just about skill and no luck, hell no! I read this guys just perfectly and still get my ass kicked.
Hate it when that happens. Anyone thinking i played this hand wrong, please say so, advice is always welcome

I would have seriously worried he had K Q or just anything Q...... But given the circumstances you outlined I probably would have called as well..
Now, whether it would have been a good call... Not sure, given there WAS a pair on the board....
Tough luck my friend.. I feel for you
