I was a tournament poker dealer during the summer, so I have seen and dealt a large number of bad beats. But this one takes the cake. How does this guy from Uruguay make this preflop call? This is when I wonder if the game can be rigged.
Once again, I folded preflop, so the outcome didn't affect me. But something sure seems fishy here.

One never knows, does one?
One main difference in what you saw as a dealer was that live games involve CASH. This was an online FREEroll. These 4,5,6 way pots are all too common online.
Besides the Free vs Cash factor, people online will bet on atc (any 2 cards) and have no problem with the site turning over their cards for all to see. In cash games or tourneys, players are face to face and many would have some personal difficulty turning over that garbage, losing, and having to take the face to face razzing or simply just having to get up and leave, embarassed. Online, you simply change screens and find another FR registering.
