One thing to remember is online poker is totally different than live poker. There's some great blogs floating around and I would suggest starting with these two:
You can also utilize the search blogs feature to help in aiding some blogs for improving your game.
Good luck!
getting sucked out on comes with the territory. if it happens consistently, definitely need to analyze your game a bit and see how you can protect yourself a little bit better.
be careful, however, not to just look at the hand and think how you could have pushed them off earlier, etc. hindsight is 20/20, and there are always way you could have played THAT HAND in a way to not get sucked out on, but the reality is that if you've got the best hand, you WANT someone to be drawing at their long shots because it's those donks that pay you off in the long run.
but take a look at the types of hands you are getting donked out to, are multiple people drawing, are making them pay properly for their draws. are you putting all of your chips in the middle, against what kinds of drawing hands? etc. etc.
look for patterns in your play, look for leaks, and plug them as quickly as you can!
i always make mental notes when i play my live cash games, and when i get back home i write then all down in a journal. big hands that i won or lost, any misplays i had, patterns i noticed or just things people were doing when big pots/betting battles were going on in the game, etc. etc. helps me to stay on point.
There's some really good blogs on this site on ways to play, nice tips and of course there's some good laughs.
