Yeah defending your blind is by just calling it lets your oppenent know that he's not going to steal from you even if you miss the flop. I believe in defending the blind you gotta realize that your going to be folding alot after you missed, of course if the flop was like 2/4/8 you could attempt to steal the pot from your oppenent, but I don't think you wanna attempt to steal from someone preflop. Key to success in No limt hold em is knowing how to act after the flop.

oh dam eh! ... well that alot ot defend... ok here is what I heard from a pro on TV show one day it may help... Blinds aren't yours there in the pot you can take it back if you don't like your cards... players need to understand that those chips aren't yours anymore ... you just get to see the flop for no more chips if all fold or limp/if SB you get to see the flop for half price....

I have stop trying to defend my blinds and well I say a lot of chips... now you have nice cards to start but and not knowing what has happen on your table ... I think the most I would of done was call the raise see the flop... then from there well depends on the play at the table before

Folding to the raise would of saved allot of chips or just a call of the raise would / could save a ton of chips too .. but again depends on the action at the table too eh!

just thoughts

I did almost the same exact thing in a "friendly" tournament and then had a rude comment made about me being slapped by a fish. To ease my frustration at both myself for being so pig-headed, the fish, and the rudeness, I killed my punching bag. Now, a trip to Wawa sporting section is due . . . .

I've played with you on the table before and for what my opinion is worth, you are an excellent poker player.

Play well. . . . Plea
