I Have been doing this over a year and plan on doing what i do for a long time to come
I enjoy this site for what it was and what it is .
I willdo what ever it takes to keep this site clean and fun for all no matter who gets there feelings hurt i can take constructive criticizem and i have a since of hummer . Alot of people do not like me because i am str8 forward This site has given a ton of money to the members to start bankrolls some do good some do bad that is the way it goes but all be darn if i will alow someone to degrade another member of this site because they called and won a hand when they should have never been in the hand many come to this site to learn the game not to be called names or talked down to because they got lucky. we all started from somewhere and will go somewhere if they allow them selfs to take the good with the bad.
I do not care if one wants to call me names for doing a job, It matter to me if i can help at least 1 person a day some willl be happy some will be haters that is not my choice but what is my choise is to run this site along with the other prorails day in day out we all want what is best for the over all picture and what we want railbirds.com to be. AND that is
we are not against you we are here for you as prorails

In everyday life on the streets we see and hear all kinds of hate .Here on Railbirds we want it to be fun for all . The only way we can do this is by having a good time and staying away from the ones you do not want to talk to .

Talking for at least 90% of the people I know here, we support all your decisions no matter whether we like em or not, I think you guys do a great job here and you deserve more respect than you get from some people.
PS. I think you have 2 of this blog, one is on the frontpage but it "does not exist", hope it is of help, ttyl gl on the tables and in here.
HH, I learned a long time ago what you were about... I always know where I stand with you & I respect that.. I also have nothing but respect for all the prorails.. & am glad to have many of you as friends..
Sorry that you all had such a bad week.. i tried my best to stay away from all that (1 exception).. hope things start to get a little easier for you guys & gals..

I really wanna say that HH,Kim, Quasi, CPT, AD, Tabbie, Ayanna, and the others do a fantastic job, and what annoys me is to see someone say they don't do a good job, because that is complete BS, and I'm going to try and hold my tongue so I can stay, but I'm getting sick of all the insult blogs aimed at the staff on this site, and I really hope joe makes a rule in the future protecting the staff from insults.
well, i agree~there shouldnt be all this disrespecting others and their type of play~poker is poker, take the good with the bad~everyone has different plays and stategy's~thats just how it is,just like everything else in life!~
poker and railbirds should be for fun~if u cant have fun here or playing poker, then just dont play~the sad thing is "misery loves company" and the ones that feed that misery will never be satisified!!~
everyone has opinions and everyone has the right to express them, doesnt mean we all have to agree, but if you do disagree try to show some respect doing it!~live and let live ~theres over 40k people here,not everyone is gonna agree, but doesnt mean you have to disrespect!!~

given all of the changes on the site in the past few weeks, the Prorails have been very busy. And when you are dealing with the public, change usually equals whining. No doubt there has been a lot of that lately. And I am sure all of this whining puts a guy on edge.
Now everyone is attacking you because they blame you for the demise of Pokerchix. Honestly, I completely agree that the way the blog was put together was done for one thing, to make someone else look bad. I believe you were in your rights to lock it down. However, there are many more that also should meet the same fate.
However, that fact did not cause the storm that followed that blog. You failed to do exactly what the blogger should have done. You should have handled the problem behind closed doors. Scathing replies to the blog solve nothing. In fact in my opinion it caused the storm. You were upset for being called out, so then you went public, then she fought back, then you fought back.
I believe that the prorails do an excellent job of making this site what it is. But in this instance the prorail did not do what was best for the website. Blocking the blog was the right thing to do. Getting in a verbal sparring match does not make the site better. It is easy for our emotions to get the best of us. But as a person of leadeship, you can not succumb to this.
The blogger was suspended. Whether or not they are coming back is a question that has not been answered. I don't care either way. But the purpose of this is to punish the person and give them a moment to reflect on what happened in hopes that the blogger can learn from the situation and become better.
However, taking a look at some of your posts tonight, I would say that you have not learned from this experience. In the posts that criticize the site or the way something is done, there you are again with a scathing response. Please stop doing this. It is only going to create more situations like we had last night.
Answering criticism with angry remarks is only going to make YOU look worse. It will not make the original poster look bad even if what they are saying is wrong. The way you answered canadagrinders blog was perfect. You just stated that what he was doing was wrong. And you were right. And you looked professional in doing so. There were no opinions and no extra remarks. You just did exactly what you should do. Please learn from this experience. In my opinion what happened last night was not caused by locking down the blog. It was what happened after the blog was locked.

That's a good reminder. Some members seem to notice their bad beats more because they blame it on the software or their superior cards got outdrawed but it could happen in live action too.
You prorailers have a thankless job from what I can see. I know you are here to help but the amount of grief all of you take is something else in my opinion. Here are some examples. "I don't like the new schedule of the freerolls and the ranking tournaments." "When is the new standings coming up?" It's only Jan 5th! And as for the schedule, it is impossible to satisfy almost 50000 members!!! Just deal with it. It is what it is. I can't play in them all either but this site is global and the prorailers are just trying to give everyone at least a chance to win.
Heck of a job well done prorailers especially with the new website launch, the radio and the new schedule. Keep it up!
HH, i happen to agree with CM on this...(this is a first as well...LOL)...But, your straight forwardness never allows for wonder where you stand, be it a situation or with another railbird.
You guys and gals, as prorails, have a committment to this site to keep it at it's best and that's what you do on a daily basis. I know that somedays it has to be rough with all of us whiners, and I appreciate you listening to our concerns and acting accordingly...We all make decisions, whether good or bad, but it is your decision, and you have to stand by it...
Hope your days get better and things start to settle down soon...

All the prorails have never been anything but friendly with me. Don't know why there is so much drama lately (makes me feel like i'm in high school again sometimes LOL) but I appreciate what you guys and gals do. I can barely do basic maintainance on my PC so can't imagine what it takes to run the site....
And kudos for being straight forward. All my life i've been told i was too "opinionated" and "blunt" but all I ever really considerated it was "being honest".......
Keep up the GR8 work.
