Ok i thought it was about time to post my own strategy blog and i wanted to write about something ppl may actually learn from and incorporate into their own game. I almost guarantee u've never heard of this because i have written this so please be critique about it and if u learnt something tell me! i love your feedback, ok here it goes..
The following play works best in sng non turbos with 9-45players. It works best with $5 buyins or more but does work sometimes in the other 1s. Also this works on cash tables as well.
HOW TO PLAY IT
i love my low suited connected cards, ussually between cards between 5-10 and with a gap of 1 or no gap at all eg. 97s, 98s. If i get dealt these hands in late position, and the table has folded around me i occasionly may raise somewhere between 2-3x BB as i would if i was holding a reasonably good hand. So we have already established 2 good things the first good thing about doing this we look like we have a good hand and we are likely to be in a good position
now if we get reraised by anyone at this stage u should fold or if its a cheap call, call. if however lets say we get 1 caller. We now can pretty much bet whatever comes up on the flop:
If the board is high we can bet because of our preflop bet, this may result in a fold which we just succssfully bluffed(CAUTION if they call they may be trapping u so check it out to river i will tell u y this is good)
If the board is low well we have either hit our pair(s) or straight draw and can bet on this and hope to hit on turn or river (dont overbet on draws)
Also If we have hit our straight or flush on flop we now have 3 options where we cash in big time:
trap-hopefully they hit the ace or king they were hoping for on turn or river and bet big which we can than come over the top accordingly.
milk-this may end with a big reraise which we can then go over the top or we will still win a reasonable pot
reasonable (big) bets- because of our raise preflop they may call our big bets because they think we are bluffing
each one of these plays is good and its something u can determine to play after u hopefully get reads on the player.
POSOTIVES OF THIS PLAY
If we lose the pot with the pair or we win big with our cards we have established 1 really good thing that we can capitalise so much on later; they have SEEN OUR CARDS. I am ussually a tight aggressive player but do like to mix my play around so they dont think that. After the table sees me winning big or losing a little with cards like 5 7. they will think i am a huge donkey or aggressive player when really im actually tight agressive. This is good because when we raise 2-3xBB again but this time with AK, they may go alliin on top of us with a hand like A10 because they think they are winning because of our little play we pulled off earlier.
SUMMING UP THIS PLAY WILL ACHIEVE THE FOLLOWING
We win big pots-playing that hand or later in the tourny
we lose small pots-thats ok theyve seen our cards if we bet on the river and can captalise later on
win reasonable pots- They may think we are bluffin and call our small bets when we have hit pair.
bluff some pots(this ones important it determins how many times we can do this): If they havent seen our cards it means we can do it again and again until they do but if they have seen our cards i reccomend u dont play like this more than 2 times or even after they see the cards once.
I hope u have enjoyed this and i ask again to please leave ure feedback thanks

Doyle Brunson states in Super System that he loves to play the suited connectors, most of what you say here is a reflection of his dissertation on this aspect of play. Therefore your summation that we have never heard of this before, is incorrect.

A bit strong Stan?
The writer did say at the beginning of his piece...."I almost guarantee u've never heard of this because i have written this so please be critique about it and if u learnt something tell me! i love your feedback"
He did ask for a "critique"....isn't that what T C did?
As for the piece... I agree it was excellently described and a worthwhile blog
Keep on truckin'....but in a nice way!
