DON"T EVEN THINK ABOUT DOING THIS!...For one, it is against the rules of all poker sites and will get you banned faster than anything else you can do.

Most of all, though, in my opinion, it shows someone to be totally without class! If you need a bankroll, play in freerolls like most do and build it that way. Begging is not cool and will get ppl nowhere but kicked out and a lot of ppl angry with them.

Railing for money? I like to watch the big games and I see it all the time.
In my opinion, you gotta show a little tact, Just imagine what would be going through your mind at that point in time.

I have been staked before by people I've developed a rapport with, and it wasn't by me asking them for money over and over, it was by watching them play, them watching me play. I'm sure it has happened, and its bound to happen again. While you are working on and refining those begging skills you could be doing the same with your poker skills and taking a stab at some freerolls. and don't forget about your bow staff skills and ninja skills.

i have once been given 5 bux from a railbird... however i did not beg for it, infact i never even asked... i simply mentioned how i needed to cash in the freeroll (needed like 20 cents) so i would finally have more than 2 bux and be able to sit at a table...

I dont mind someone asking for a little $ if i know u i usually dont have a problem bit if i dont hellllllll NO. But i have had someone drop me a couple of bucks but when i won i doubled back tha favor.

The best thing is if u are going to give $ dont expect to get it back. and when they dont give it back learn a lesson and dont do it again.

Yes, people have gotten money from "begging, and YES, people have been banned from Railbirds.com for begging - you tell your "sob-story" and you take your chances ....

Get a job! Have some selfrespect!

I'll send to someone I think may need it, but I will never send to a beggar....

Or if it's been a long game and someone has been with me most of the way, I'll ship 'em some, but the begging is a good way to get NADA!

Gl on and off the felt...

I don't care if I get raoled or not my friendsthat I talk to while playing at time rail me and I do the same for them but to expect to recieve and need to pay is out of the question, but their was a time I was in a tourney and the railer, was not even a part of this forum, I did send him $5. but he wrote: an in-depth decription on what he thought about my game, and when I should of played different, for pluging gaps in my play.some things I agree with, and some thing I disagreed with, we were on msn while we were playing, and the next day it was in my e-mail..I haven't seen this player in like allmost a year, don't know what happin to him..but that was werth it..

I find it amusing when people beg for money to play in tournaments. If they just took their loose change and put it in a jar at the beginning of the month and deposited it into their bank accounts at the end of the month and made a deposit onto their favorite poker site they would probably have enough money to play a $1.00 tournament everyday for a month even if they never cashed.

don't understand that you are even asking if it's true, that means you are thinking about it, play poker and do it the right way
