So...I am looking thru the podcasts and TV shows available at iTunes, because I knew I had noticed episodes of the WSOP on there at some point. I end up getting a couple of my favorite episodes, as well as subscribing to a few poker related podcasts that seemed of interest. You see, after family of course, the only thing I love more than my music is this game we all play and my desire to improve. So i figured I would give these podcasts a listen. ESPN has one hosted by the Mouth, and Phil Gordon host's one by Full Tilt, and there are several that strictly talk strategy and hand values and odds and all that...Then I notice one with video, and it happens to be sponsored by Absolute Poker, hosted by none other than Mark Seif himself. Not a fan, at all. Matter of fact, I thought the guy seemed shady even before the whole cheating scandal...
Anyway, I decide to give these thing a listen and a look, and for the most part they are great. The last one I decide to view is the Absolute sponsored deal, which was the only one with video.
I push play...wait...A barage of high tech sounds erupt from my headphones, the Absolute logo pops up, and that's when my new toy locks up...freezes...shuts down completely...for no apparent reason...how ironic, I think. I never was a player there, but they were gonna get me thru other channels!!! podcast channels!!!
I tried to turn my device back on, thinking the battery may have went kapoot, and it came right on. Thinking there may be some sort of memory overload, I re- sync my device, and everything seem good...until I attempt to view the Absolute thing again!!! Same result!! Wow...
Needless to say, I immediately removed that podcast, and went back to my joyful state...
End of story...Thank God...
