Here We Are!

Well, here I am blogging at Railbirds, having joined just a couple of days ago. In joining Railbirds I hope to rectify a long standing barrier to my progress as a poker player; I haven't really had anyone to discuss the subject with for a long time. The first few months I was playing, I was part of another community, but for reasons I have long forgotten, I left there more than 18 months ago. As you might surmise from the last paragraph, I haven't really been playing all that long; just two years in fact. According to my logs, I have played about a thousand hours. I am pretty well read, though there are plenty of good books I have yet to read, and other good books I need to reread. (so far I have gotten every daily poker quiz right since I joined, so I must have learned something) Anyways, hello to all. I am happy to be here and I hope both that you can be a great help to me, and that I might return the favour.
