anyone else do this?

Nov 30, 2007 5:38 pm Report Abuse

So, I recently (2 days ago) started to track my play in both MTT's and SNG's. I was wondering if anyone else did this kind of thing and has it helped? I am making a database for each month with all my tourneys so that I know how much I am ahead or behind for the month. As you can see in my last two days of tourneys I am down $3.35. I have heard it said that you should cash in about 15-20% of all tourneys with 5% being final tables. I have cashed in 20%, but no final tables. Any suggestions on how to make this a better system would also help. And who knows maybe someone else will find this kind of system valuable for them as well.

Seems like alot of time spent for low stakes.. Go to google, type in pokerdb its a thing that the run in bluff magazine. Maybe that will give you some better info about yourself and your cashing out! on the left hand side of the page somewhere is where you can type in your name and see your stats. I hope that this saves you some time.

offical poker raking website is the best for MTT, you can also keep track through full tilt now. I think it is a good idea to keep track of your tournaments and your progress. I would not be to worried about your numbers at this point. You need a lot of tournaments to get an accurate picture of your playing. Just keep grinding out those touraments. The more you play the more you will learn.
