I just wanted to get this particular game out of my mind. It was a tourney Game, and the first hand of the game went like this......
I was under the gun.
pre-flop: Qs Qh (my 2 cards)
nine players alive, I checked- waiting to reraise
All players checked.
FLOP. Qc Qd 5s 10s
I said to myself "play it smart,You got the nutzs". so I checked waiting for a bet (hoping someone catches a flush).
Damn....all checked.
TURN . K c
i CHECKED AGAIN.................ALL CHECKED, NOT ONE DARN MINIMUM BET.
RIVER. A d
I made minimum bet.....ALL FOLDED.........??????
WHAT DID I DO WRONG??? SHOULD i HAVE CHECKED ON THE TURN???? HA.
i JUST NEEDED TO GET THIS GAME OUT OF MY MIND BY TELLING SOMEONE.
HAS THIS TYPE OF WIN EVER HAPPENED TO YOU FOLKS?? I WOULD SURE LIKE TO HEAR FROM OTHERS.
Hammer 101

Considering that the big blind and the small blind could have the biggest pile of crap for a hand and If Im bidding out of position...I almost always pre-flop bid my hand, at least 3x the big blind, that way if someone does call there is some commitment to winning their hand.
No one is going to compete with you just to win some antes...I have made the mistake time and time again with K's and Q's by not bidding them preflop, I usually pay for it by getting beat by 2 pair, or a lame straight.
Those are my thoughts, but I don't know much
Well thinking if I read right a mim raise before flop and follow with a mim rasies after the flop, this could drawn some extra chips into the pot, but in the end maybe most had rags for cards and trying to hit someing and you hit it!
Just a thought eh!
